Automating cloud deployments at RiscoRISCO Group and Microsoft teamed up to streamline and accelerate the deployment of dev/test cloud environments through the creation of a web portal for the RISCO R&D team. The implemented solution used Azure Resource Manager and Puppet.

Office 365 deployment in CaesarstoneU-BTech Solutions Completed the establishment of a wide Microsoft infrastructure in Caesarstone. Established in 1987, Caesarstone is a global industrial company, manufacturing quality quartz surfaces.
The infrastructure was established at all the company’s sites worldwide, by U-BTech’s professionals who provided 24/7 support to Caesarston’s IT teams in all sites, and with the supervision of U-BTech’s Project Manager. The project included deployment of a Microsoft Public Cloud platform in the company, that provides SaaS based services and Office 365 solution, including: Skype for Business, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online and Office Services. U-BTech professionals performed a migration of the infrastructure from Lync 2013 to Skype for Business environment and connected it with SIP Trunk to the company’s VoIP infrastructure. The project purpose was to unite Caesarstone worldwide users Mail infrastructure.
500 employees in Israel, Canada, U.S.A, Australia and Singapore are now united with a one Global Address List, enjoying a new and improved working together experience with Skype for Business video conference, file sharing and text messaging services. Caesarstone’s employees now using the platform in a Hybrid form, when the Israeli employees are using Skype for Business On-Premise and the other branches are using Skype for Business Online.
Skype for Business improved the workflows in Caesarstone and made the operation and communication processes between all the company’s sites easier and more efficient. Caesarstone’s IT team are using Skype’s screen sharing function a lot as a user support tool.
This international project created new business values for Caesarstone and led to a significant reduction in the company's expenses. The new cloud infrastructure provides Caesarstone with a complete security solution and increases the company's end users productivity.

Consolidation and Migration at VerintWe would like to extend our appreciation for the help and dedication your company provided during the first phase of our Kana integration project. We had engaged U-BTech (with only two weeks’ notice), that we needed them for this particular project. Even though there were other projects and customers, U-BTech was there to provide assistance from beginning to end.
The project included the following challenges: the first challenge was to share the global address list of both companies. The second challenge was to share free/busy information between the two companies. The third challenge was to synchronize the users between the two companies.
Not only was the project done professionally, but Noam Hirsh, a senior consultant at U-BTech solutions, solved all issues that were raised, and still kept the project on time and within budget. The project team consisted of members from many different companies and regions – Kana (US and UK), Verint (US and Israel), and of course U-BTech. Considering the great help U-BTech provided on phase one, and what we all accomplished in such a short time, we are looking forward to the help U-BTech can provide for phase two. Office 365 Deployment at EL-AL AirlinesEL-AL was established in 1948 as Israel's national airline and today considered a prestigious and respected international carrier.
As a global airline with dozens of offices worldwide, we searched for a solution to unify and consolidate the isolated data islands that had formed around the organization's e-mail systems. One of our biggest challenges was the lack of uniformity of the e-mail systems and the inability to manage them centrally.
At each of our major offices such as Amsterdam, London, Paris, Rome and Frankfurt, we had local Exchange servers including all aspects of maintenance, upgrades, security patches, malfunctions, etc.
This meant that if we had a problem with any one of these servers, it resulted in hiring local service providers at high costs and in some cases forced us to fly out technicians from Israel to fix the problem. This obviously meant some serious time delay in service response when systems were down and not available for long periods of time, which was not acceptable for an organization like ours. At dozens of other smaller branches scattered around the world, we operated mailboxes using local service providers. This kept us from being able to centrally manage and control mailbox synchronization as a wholesome solution.
In response to these challenges, it was decided to choose Microsoft's cloud platform - Office 365. The migration of our mail systems to Office 365 was performed by EL AL's IT personnel with the assistance of experts from U-BTech Solutions. We were impressed with the high level of experience and expertise that U-BTech Solutions had displayed in similar projects and the ability of the chosen cloud solution to provide us with an end to end solution to all of our challenges while creating substantial financial savings, as well as improving service quality and corporate communications, survivability and availability of the systems. Choosing Office 365 allowed us total control over the mail system, including centralized management and uniform work policies and saved us from throwing additional money or making any further investment in a DR site which we no longer require. In fact, once a user anywhere in the world signs on to Office 365, the cloud allows the user to continue working using his existing credentials.
Lastly, the transition to the cloud allowed us to refocus our resources and attention: Instead of putting out fires and malfunctions, we can now concentrate on technological innovations that enhance and improves business operations.
We can clearly see how the world trend of going to cloud computing infrastructure is just like the previous trend to move to virtualization systems. We are so pleased that we had the vision to recognize this trend early enough to join the revolution while maximizing business benefits it produces for our organization. There is no doubt that the move to Office 365 was a leap into the future for us. We thank U- BTech Solutions - A small company that does big things.

It has saved me hours of work recently, as an example creating shared mailboxes is a simple task involving a click or two (no powershell required) and your done.

As a global company, IT services are required to be available worldwide. When we implemented ADFS for Office 365, we had to follow very specific security requirements, including custom filtering policies to pre-approve IPs connecting to the Microsoft Online services.
We selected U-BTech to lead our Office 365 migration project. It was a one-of-a-kind project in Israel, since it implemented Custom ADFS Security Policies so we could achieve our goal.
To comply with ECI's high security and availability needs, we tested a few well-known technologies available in the IT market. U-BTech approached us with a complete and thorough solution based on and supported by Microsoft Technologies. They helped us deploy the entire solution in a very professional manner.
We set up a hybrid environment that made it possible for us to migrate to Microsoft's online services. We assigned licenses to thousands of users. The entire infrastructure was built with long term co-existence in mind, to allow us the gradual migration of the entire company staff over an extended period of time.
The project was implemented and carried out flawlessly and we have continued our cooperation with U-BTech Solutions as a Microsoft consultant and services provider ever since.

Signature Portal at Shikun & BinuiWe needed a solution that will be able to provide us with a way to configure the Microsoft Outlook signature for all our employees. The solution needed to be customized to our needs and accommodate all our requirements as well as the ability to select between 10 different signatures with varying logos.
We tried a few different solutions and options over the past year, we tried U-BTech's solution: The Organizational Signature Portal, a hybrid solution that allowed us to provide all the users in the organization with a simple and easy to use interface to configure their Microsoft Outlook signatures. Because the solution is based and installed on our IIS servers, we were even able to integrate it seamlessly into our SharePoint infrastructure.
The customized portal automatically populates users' details from Active Directory based on the logged in user, allows them to fill in or change the required details and best of all, select their division's logo. After that, it’s a simple click of a button and the signature is created and configured in Microsoft Outlook as the default signature - Very easy.
I have to admit, I wasn't expecting for the solution to be this easy and simple to deploy and implement - I couldn't be happier with the result.

XtraBanner at John Bryce Hi-Tech CollegeAbout a year ago, before we started working with XtraBanner, we were using a different and very well-known system to insert advertising content into emails. The system was in use for over three years. We decided to take a chance and give U-BTech's XtraBanner a try. We've been using it ever since.
The installation was done in a very professional way and without any delays and U-BTech has even been kind enough to migrate our existing content from the old system to the new one. None of us experienced any problems during the transition and the users who were used to maintaining the old system caught on the new one very fast and with very little training.

XtraBanner at Municipality of Bat-YamAs the CIO of Bat-Yam Municiplaity, a complicated and very diverse heterogeneous organization containing over 700 laptops and desktops, I have to constantly deal with different requirements coming in to the IT department.
When the demand for an advertising system that uses and leverages email communications came in from the Municipality's Public Relations department, I was assigned with the task. I was concerned with searching for a solution that on one hand will be simple to manage and offer great experience and results, even for the non tech savvy users and on the other hand not require constant maintenance and cause problems for the IT staff, requiring their constant attention.
After some comprehensive market research we had targeted three different companies that offered more or less the solution we were looking for. We assessed their solutions based on cost, efficiency, performance, ease of management, ease of installation and integration and the experience of the company behind the product in regards to Exchange messaging and solution development. The good personalities of the staff and the chemistry between our staff and the solution provider's was also taken into consideration.
The decision was not hard to make: We chose U-BTech's XtraBanner.
